
Recipe Kuih Tart Gulung
The pastry ingredients:
- 1 buttercup (250gm)
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup custard flour
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 300gm wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Methods:
put buttercup and icing sugar in the large bowl then pukul sampai kembang, add egg yolks to bind and vanilla essence, if two yolks cannot bind them, into smooth dough, add one more yolk, then add custard flour and lastly add wheat flour. if the dough is too soft, add a little more wheat
flour.
u can buy a ready-made jam from the cake specialist shop or u can make ur own.
i have no problem with the above recipe as a weather wasn't too hot. if u find the pastry is too soft, during a hot wheather, keep them in the fridge and take out smaller portion to work on them...
